Role summary The Workday Data Conversion Consultant leads data-conversion workstreams for HCM, Financials, or Student implementations. The consultant converts legacy data into Workday with Huron and Workday loading tools, validates loaded data, maps legacy sources, identifies data-quality issues, and owns delivery communication with project and client leadership. The work is hands-on data migration and platform engineering rather than a generic functional-consulting role.

Responsibilities and requirements - Deliver measurable data-conversion work across at least one HCM, Financials, or Student implementation and two project phases. - Convert data into Workday, support validation of loaded records, reconcile results, and troubleshoot conversion issues. - Map legacy data, identify quality problems, document source-to-target rules, and support conversion readiness. - Use Workday data-loading tools such as iLoads, EIBs, and Customer Central. - Work with SQL Server or Oracle databases, entity relationships, SQL, programming, ETL software, web services, XML/XSLT, VBA, Excel, and Access. - Support process improvements, technical documentation, methodology changes, staff development, and client-facing project communication.

Preferred background A technical, business, mathematics, engineering, computer-science, information-systems, statistics, data-analytics, or related degree; current Workday certification; at least three years of Workday data-conversion experience; and strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills.
