JD: Job Description – Senior Architect, Data & AI Job Title Senior Architect – Data & AI Grade : G5/G6 Location: Bengaluru Role Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect – Data & AI to lead the design, delivery, and adoption of enterprise-scale Data, Analytics, AI, and Generative AI solutions. The role requires a strong blend of technical leadership, delivery ownership, client engagement, account growth, and people collaboration skills . The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring successful project execution, identifying business growth opportunities within existing accounts, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Ownership Define and drive enterprise Data & AI architecture strategies aligned with business objectives. Architect scalable Data Platforms, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Lakehouse solutions, AI/ML, and Generative AI applications. Provide architecture governance, design reviews, and establish best practices across data engineering and AI initiatives. Lead technology evaluations, PoCs, and innovation initiatives. Ensure solution scalability, security, performance, reliability, and cost optimization. Guide development teams on architecture patterns, cloud-native services, MLOps, DataOps, and AI engineering practices. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in Data, AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, and Cloud ecosystems. 2. Delivery Ownership Own end-to-end solution delivery from discovery through deployment and hypercare. Work closely with project managers, delivery leads, and engineering teams to ensure successful execution. Manage solution risks, dependencies, architecture compliance, and technical escalations. Drive delivery excellence through quality assurance, coding standards, automation, and governance frameworks. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet business outcomes. Track and report technical and delivery KPIs to leadership and clients. 3. Client Engagement & Account Mining Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams. Identify and develop opportunities for account growth, upselling, and cross-selling Data & AI services. Partner with account managers and sales teams to build strategic account roadmaps. Conduct client workshops, solution envisioning sessions, and executive presentations. Support proposal development, solution estimation, RFPs, and pre-sales activities. Drive innovation discussions and help clients define their Data & AI transformation journey. 4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, delivery teams, and executive leadership. Lead cross-functional teams comprising Data Engineers, AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Cloud Engineers. Mentor architects and technical leads on architecture and delivery best practices. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and engineering excellence. Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Required Technical Skills Data & Analytics Hands on Snowflake, specially performance, design, FinOps, Cortex ecosystem. CoWork + CoCo will be added advantage Modern Data Platforms and Lakehouse architectures Data Warehousing and Data Modeling ETL/ELT and Data Integration Real-time and Batch Data Processing Data Governance, Data Quality, and Metadata Management AI & GenAI Hands on/project experience on multi-agentic workflows and LangGraph / CrewAI framework / AWS Bedrock /Azure AI Foundry Generative AI, RAG, Vector Databases LLMs and Prompt Engineering AI Solution Architecture AI Governance, Responsible AI, and Model Monitoring Knowledge Graph, Ontology Cloud Platforms Experience in one or more: Microsoft Azure AWS Google Cloud Platform Engineering & Operations DataOps and MLOps CI/CD and DevSecOps API and Microservices Architecture Containerization and Kubernetes Performance and Cost Optimization Required Competencies Strong technical leadership and architecture mindset Delivery and program ownership Business acumen and account growth orientation Executive stakeholder management Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Team mentoring and leadership capabilities Customer-centric mindset Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
