Role summary This distinct Lead Workday Reporting Consultant requisition delivers enterprise reporting and embedded analytics for client Workday programs. It combines analytical problem solving with hands-on translation of legacy reporting requirements into scalable Workday reports and dashboards across HCM, Academics, Payroll, Benefits, Financials, Supply Chain, and Student. The work is directly within business intelligence and analytics delivery.

Responsibilities - Act as the reporting consultant on one or more implementation teams and own reporting outcomes across multiple phases. - Translate legacy reports, data definitions, filters, calculations, security needs, and stakeholder requirements into Workday reporting designs. - Build custom reports, dashboards, discovery boards, embedded analytics, and reusable reporting assets. - Identify and communicate cross-module data touchpoints and dependencies. - Support testing, quality, project/client leadership communication, process improvement, and reporting methodology evolution. - Train and support staff in both technical reporting and project delivery.

Preferred background A degree in business, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or related study; current Workday certification; five or more years in Workday and enterprise report writing; deep Workday security-model knowledge; experience with Prism, BIRT, dashboards, discovery boards, and embedded analytics; strong Excel and Access; and the ability to turn information and requirements into documented BI solution designs.
