Job Description - Lead Data Scientist Role: Individual will be responsible for leveraging expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning/deep learning and data engineering to solve complex business problems, driving AI strategy, and championing responsible AI practices across the organization Key Responsibilities: Leads data science projects independently while collaborating with team members and internal/external stakeholders. Interact with clients to understand requirements and discuss solutions. Explore data to identify patterns, trends & anomalies and conduct statistical analyses to derive actionable insights. Build solutions using Statistics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning or Generative AI; design and implement RAG pipelines, multimodal AI systems, and Agentic workflows that align with responsible AI and governance frameworks Collaborates in the development and implementation of predictive models, segmentation strategies, optimization algorithms, statistical analysis, and data mining analyses with a targeted result of increasing revenue, and optimize models for predictive accuracy and efficiency. Deploy Machine Learning models into production systems and making necessary updates or improvements; establish MLOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, drift monitoring, and model governance. Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists/ML engineers; drive AI upskilling initiatives and foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the team Establishes well-thought-out plans and manages execution of plans, anticipating and adjusting for risks and roadblocks Job Requirement: Academics in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 8+ years of industry experience in data science & experience in Leading Data Science projects. Hands-on experience in building and deploying Machine Learning models . Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, matplotlib, etc.), SQL queries , and advance LangChain, LlamaIndex, HuggingFace Transformers. Strong hands-on experience in Machine Learning / Statistical models (predictive modeling, time-series modeling), causal inference, forecasting, and anomaly detection for solving business problems. Knowledge of Generative AI techniques and LLMs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, etc. including prompt engineering, fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA), RAG architecture, and multi-agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI) Familiarity with Cloud platforms, particularly Azure ML, and expertise in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions. Understanding of CI/CD and MLOps is required; proficiency with tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Azure ML Pipelines for end-to-end model lifecycle management. Engaging & Managing Customer requirements and Mentor/Guide Team members. Ability to translate complex AI/ML outcomes into business value for executive and non-technical stakeholders; experience contributing to AI roadmaps and product strategy.
