Data Engineer

WPP is hiring a Data Engineer in Chennai for its Azure Databricks platform supporting Australia and New Zealand. The role builds and maintains ELT pipelines, silver and gold data models, and reliable datasets for Power BI. Work includes Unity Catalog access controls and lineage, Delta Live Tables, Databricks Asset Bundles, API integrations, data migrations and engineering documentation. Candidates need 3+ years building distributed data pipelines and dimensional models, plus 3+ years using Python and SQL. Databricks and PySpark experience is required, along with Azure data services and CI/CD practices. The role works with the Head of Data & Analytics.
